Denisse Silva is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Spiral Process Therapy, the founder of my platform Ancestral Therapy, and a child of immigrant parents from Mexico & El Salvador. She has actively shared her journey of connecting to her roots, culture, and ancestral medicine when moving to Mexico.
Through her work, Denisse aims to educate people on the protective nature of culture when living within the Western society and how leaning onto our cultural practices can be a resource for us.
In this episode, we discuss our connection with ancestral wisdom, how our culture connects with our healing, plant medicine, healing generational wounds and using the strength of past generations to move forward, and more.
