Or maybe that doesn’t feel so true for you. On a day when many people celebrate the mom they love or the mom they love being, we know others wait eagerly for the holiday to pass.

But no matter what feelings such days stir in you, may I remind you of God’s great motherly love for you? His affection for you is so deep; he does not forget you. Drink in the promise from Isaiah chapter 49: “I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."
