Before we look ahead to the Seahawks Saturday night battle against the San Francisco 49ers, let's look back at the micro-moments in the Panthers game that kept Seattle in the pole position in the NFC. To kick things off, Ty Okada and and Drake Thomas were key in providing some sound tackling and effective run support. Additionally, we dial in on how Nick Emmanwori and Julian Love helped contain the outside runs when the Panthers tried to change things up. On offense, the focus goes to the play of the offense following the Julian Love interception - it was a physical, clock-controlling dirve that set up their late touchdown. But in traditional 3 IN, 3 OUT style, it wasn't all sunshine and roses. There were some badly whiffed blocks up front, Ken Walker tried a bit too much to bounce to the outside, and Sam Darnold did not choose wisely on his only interception/non-interception on the day.
