The Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers are the only two teams in the NFL to start the season with back-to-back wins on the road. Miami's offense averages nearly 30 points per game, and the defense looked much better against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

We're just scratching the surface of the 2023 season and there's still plenty to learn about the Dolphins. While it's hard to not be confident about the team's early season success — there are a few things we're not ready to admit about the 2023 season.

Christian Wilkins has been a foundational piece of Miami's roster since being drafted in the first round of the 2020 draft. That said, did the Dolphins make the right move by holding off on a long-term deal? The entire defense is working to learn a new system and a handful of players look to be paid soon — does keeping Wilkins off the books help avoid future headaches?

Raheem Mostert dominated against the Patriots, but should Miami still be in the market for another running back? We heard the rumors surrounding Dalvin Cook and Jonathan Taylor throughout the offseason. Does general manager Chris Grier believe this group can hold for a 17-game season?

Mike McDaniel is a fantastic offensive mind but makes a handful of moves that leave us scratching our heads. Does he have someone telling him to challenge plays or does he throw the red flag based on gut feeling? On top of that, why is Jason Sanders attempting a 55-yard field goal after a blocked kick earlier in the game?
