Today, our plus guest is Lindsay Williams, a Gumbaynggirr and Wiradjuri man from Nambucca Heads.

This was an episode where we decided against setting an agenda ahead of time, because the fact is, as three white guys we can't speak for First Nations people, but we desperately need to learn more as the ignorance of Indigenous culture in this country is crippling.

And the fact that we have to lead with that is devastating, because we shouldn't have to set aside special episodes for Indigenous guests, because all issues in this country affect the Indigenous community.

Just to bring down the mood quickly, a woman was murdered in Tuesday's knife attack because she was a sex worker. Michaela Dunn was a daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a human being. She was someone who spoke out about sexual violence and harassment.

Sex workers face some of the highest levels of abuse of any profession, and more often than not when they are murdered they are blamed for what was done to them. They are reduced to what they do, instead of who they are.

G'day voters, this is the inaugural episode of 3 White Guys + Guest, a political podcast for a cynical nation.

We had a couple of teething issues for this first one, not too bad hopefully, but we should be on top of this in the future. Going forward, this should *hopefully* be a fortnightly podcast, depending on what's happening in the world.

This will likely be the longest episode we put out, simply because there was so much to consider in the wake of Labor shitting their pants like a failed ad man in a southern Sydney Maccas.

It was supposed to be the unloseable election. This is why we can't have nice things.

Sean McCallum works two odd jobs because a guy can't get a break in this town. He has always had a soft spot for the underdog and someday hopes to see the world saved from being burned alive. In his spare time he writes music and his masters in film production means he is qualified to work for exposure.

Nick Mack is a former hack who spent too long in the horrible digital newsrooms of two of Australia's biggest commercial networks, writing yarns for jerks before reporting on social media outrage became too much and he needed to adjust his horizons. Now he works for a trade union, fighting the good fight and musing that hopefully one day we'll have revolution.

Dean Cool is the online pseudonym of a man tired of fighting over scraps while the political class grow fat on our labour. He dropped out of university with honours and after years of online bitching, started writing about politics the day Tony Abbott became Prime Minister. To date, his greatest single accomplishment was winning a t-shirt in a jellybean guessing competition.
