In this episode we try to 3 different cheese and wine pairings. First we pair two soft cheeses (double brie and washed rind (D’Affinois Le Campagnier)) with a 2009 Moreau-Naudet Montmains Premier Cru Chablis, France. Next we pair a 24 month matured cheddar with a 2017 Marques de Murrieta Finca Ygay Reserva Rioja, Spain. Then finally we pair a blue cheese (gorgonzola dolce) with a 2016 La Chartreuse de Coutet Sauternes, France. Also in this episode we discuss the benefit of having a ‘wine buddy’, the links between alcohol and anxiety, and Jason shares a wine that he has tried recently, a 2021 Camino De Navaherreros Blanco, Madrid, Spain.
