This week on the show Maine and Miranda recap the 2023 IBJJF GP, and the Blue Collar FC event. We also preview the return of Quintet 4, and BJJ Stars 11.

In the news section of the show we discuss IBJJF 2023 World Masters and Mighty Mouse winning Brown belt plus some other notable entrants.  

In the recap section of the show we discuss the tournament and Superfights on the IBJJG Absolute GP.  We discuss each match in the 8 man event starting with the quarterfinals talking about Victor Hugos submissions and  Nicholas Meregali vs Francisco Lo that saw Meregali win by smother or shoulder lock from the mount.  

In the semifinals we discuss the rematch between Nicholas Meregali vs  Gutemberg Pereira where Meregali was able to win by submission with a modified belly down zipper choke from the back.   We also discuss Victor Hugo Submission win over Fellipe Andrew with e triangle from the guard.

In the finals we discuss the anticipated rematch between Nicholas Meregali vs Victor Hugo that saw great planning from Meregali and a 2 point lasso hook sweep and guard work to win the match, and take home 40K.

We also discussed Cole Abate IBJJF Black Belt Debut, and Tainan Dalpra Violin Amrlock triangle win. 

In the recap of Blue collar FC we talked about each of the rounds.  We discussed Giancarlo Bodoni working his wrestling and wrestle up sweeps in the event, we talk about Jay Rod vs Andy Varella in the battle of the wrestlers, and Roberto Jimenez working on his foot lock defense and being one of the best back takers in the sport.  

In the preview section we discussed Quintet 4 return potentially on Flograppling, EUG upcoming event and BJJ Stars Women's Absolute GP, and Superfights.
