We’re in the middle of Leo Season and the retrograde planets are beginning to stack up. Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are currently retrograde. Mercury will retrograde next week, and Chiron went retrograde on Friday.  

Chiron is in retrograde for around five months of the year so this is a normal part of its cycle. However, what makes this retrograde extra powerful is the addition of Eris.

Eris is a dwarf planet that was discovered in 2005. It’s known as the Goddess of Discord and Rebellion. Eris is our feminine warrior who stands up to the patriarchy and people in power to make her voice heard. 

On July 21, Eris went retrograde, the same day Joe Biden withdrew from the race and Kamala entered. 

Chiron Retrograde is a very healing time while Eris gives us strength and fire. She supports us as we put on our warrior masks and confront something or someone who has held power over us.

Retrogrades are a time to rethink and redo things. And it's specifically affecting women right now. We’re getting another chance to elect a woman.

In numerology, August is a 7 Universal Month. A seven-month is ideal for reflection and introspection. You could need more alone time this month to reflect on your life and connect with yourself spiritually. 

It's also the ideal time to begin making future plans. We're simply getting clear about what we want next; we won't be carrying out those plans just yet.

This is a time of healing and empowerment. Heal what needs to be healed and start making plans for the future.
