You’re likely aware of the concept of stereotype threat and may have even listened to my previous episode with Dr. Josh Aronson, where we discussed the development of the theory. But how can we apply this theory to our assessment work? Dr. Geremy Grant is back to talk with me about stereotype threat and ways to combat it when we’re actually in front of a client. We explore several different ways to both recognize and address stereotype threat, with the hope of creating an environment where our clients can feel safe and brave enough to do their very best.
