This week on the show, Maine and Simon recap the return of Gordon Ryan versus Josh Saunders on WNO 24 we also break down the entire card and in the news section discuss some of the recent announcements for the Craig Jones invitational and who has dropped out of ADCC. 

In the recap section, we discussed the return of Gordan, Ryan after nearly a year of being away from competition we talk about the quick game plan he implemented, looking for leg locks early and then ultimately moving back into his passing. Once he pushed Josh onto the bottom we discussed some of the defensive work from Josh and then how Gordon was able to consistently pass and trap then move back into the legs to finish a heel hook to retain the WNO Heavyweight title. 

We break down Diego ‘Pato’ Oliveira vs Fabricio Andrey, and Pato RNC finish after being down in the first judging period. We also talk about how now that Pato has both the 145, 155 belts and had defended the 145 belt if he wants to go to 135 we would be down to see it. 

We talk about Jonnatas Gracie vs Jacob Couch with Gracie winning a dominate decision over Couch to take the Middleweight belt. 

We talk about Victor Hugo vs Javier Zaruski and Hugo’s Rear-naked Choke win in dominate fashion. 

We talk about Tainan Dalpra vs Jacob Rodriguez we discussed all of the tactical and stylistic matchups that occurred in the match, as well as some general observations about both players games, and how Rodriguez has developed his style. 

We recap Adele Fornarino victory over Anna Rodrigues by Decision.

We break down Jozef Chen vs Elijah Dorsey that saw Chen in control through the match with a great takedown then as soon as Dorsey opened the guard a great pass to mount, followed by a shuck to the back and Rear-naked Choke sub finish. 

In Ethan Crelinsten vs Deandre Corbe via a rematch from 2017 we talk about how Ethan was able to take a decision.

With Declan Moody vs Felipe Costa with Declan securing a rearing naked, choke over Costa late in the match.
