Juliet is in recovery and participates in various twelve-step programs, and has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, plus much more on this episode of . Juliet speaks about being sexually abused as a child and not getting help, so the untreated trauma affected the rest of her life. Juliet talks about her alcoholism, eating disorder, and what sparked her need to go into recovery. Juliet discusses her experience with twelve-step programs, how addiction is a symptom of circumstance, and how when you deal with stuff, other things can come up, and you have to learn to handle it all. Juliet talks about how she untangles the intersectionality between sensory processing with Autism and the trauma that is being held in her body.
