This week Eoin speaks with someone who’s been there every step of the way - his dad. Eoin has always known how he himself felt around the time he was diagnosed; both physically and mentally, but what were his parents feeling throughout the whole time, and even still to this day?

As Eoin’s dad says himself, “you never stop worrying about your children, no matter what age they are”, but does he worry more now because Eoin is a Type 1 Diabetic?

What were his initial reactions to diagnosis as a parent? Was it something that could have been prevented? How is life going to change? These are all thoughts that will constantly race through a parents mind. Listen first hand to a parent’s perspective.
