I think we all theoretically know that our tests don’t always measure exactly what we want them to measure, but how deeply do we consider this problem? And more importantly, what do we do about it? Dr. Vanessa Torres van Grinsven, a research methodologist with an anthropology and philosophy background, is here for a deep dive into measurement error and personality’s influence on test performance. We get into a wide-ranging conversation about the basics of measurement error, intrapersonal factors that influence test performance, and ways to adapt tests to the individual client. Enjoy!
