What can we do to help our parents? First, as physicians, we can offer them the gift of health. Our parents have helped us achieve our goals and have set us up for success. We have to thank them for all they have done, and a way of doing so is by giving them strategies to enjoy their senior years.
In this episode, I share with you the strategies I’ve used to ensure that people around me live as long and healthy as possible. These are the four main strategies:
- Nutrition
- Exercise
- Gratitude work
- Breathing techniques
I hope you pour into the people who’ve gotten you where you are now, which is your parents. Please give them the gift of health and vitality. By offering them these strategies, you will be helping them with simple and inexpensive resources that can transform their later years of life.
“Over time, the joy, the health benefits, and the endorphin rush of working out stay with them, and they actually like the feeling. And they start looking, feeling, and acting younger.” - Dr. Vikram Raya
