Andy runs Independent Wealth Advice, an independent financial advice firm that provides fixed upfront fees for a statement of financial advice. He has a degree in accounting and is a CFP. He’s also worked in wealth management for over a decade, including at Macquarie Bank and at one of Australia’s oldest stockbroking firms, Wilson’s Advisory and Stockbroking.
Suffice to say he’s got a bit of experience. He also calls himself a self-loathing financial advisor, which I find funny. He has some fairly controversial views on the financial advice industry, not being afraid to call out shitty or unethical products when he sees them.
