Have you ever stopped to think about how much of an impact an act of stepping out in faith can have on people?  I don’t just mean for that person, either.  God can use acts of faith to affect and bolster the lives of countless people in a cascade of blessings from that one initial act.   

But it has to start with an act of faith.  Of obedience to God’s will.  Of taking courage in God’s promises to us. 

My guest on this episode of the Thriving Christian Artist podcast, Kim Keys, is a perfect example of this.  Kim is a colored pencil artist (with a background in oil painting), and she’s a fellow Texan, so she’s okay in my book! 

And speaking of “my book,” you’ve got to hear Kim’s story about how she stepped out in faith and led a study group on my book, “Unlocking the Heart of the Artist” at a church she was still brand new to because she felt God was calling her to do so. 

That act of faith has led to more book studies, a new-found appreciation for art in her church, and new outreach opportunities that are touching the lives of so many people.  And it has helped Kim to courageously follow God’s call into other areas, like writing.  And it started with one act of faith.
