2️⃣ Action, cut, rewind. How I feel about how I feel.
🎓 What I'd like to do differently:
Started with two never-before-seen tech problems, both show-stoppers, one most definitely my fault. That's always a major shake-up for my system, “oh shit how many other times?” and my nieghbor is outside playing with guns the whole call, really distracting. I had trouble following, my predictions kept being off, my words weren’t coming out right, like can feel it but I can’t say it. Dunno why. Well. Maybe it's physical. I got bad/little sleep past few nights, and after this call I went and passed out for over 9 hours.

We debriefed a lot after.
I need to slow way down, I'm speaking past her, talking too much. I think when she feels lost her anxious / talkative parts come up, and I'm addressing those "concepts". She reports feeling “you’ve done something wrong”, and after the call she said "shame" wasn't true… So now I see and can empathize more with what she means by doing it wrong.
Sometimes when people are really anxious and have trouble answering my questions, I quit asking questions and just speak with confidence and try to let them all know they make sense. Curious and confident can be a little contradictory, huh.
