Josephine is the Director of The Pointe Shop and the leader of a team of professional pointe shoe fitters that work out of her Orange County, San Diego and Oakland locations or they come directly to you. After recognising a need for more accessible and knowledgeable pointe shoe fittings, she started her traveling pointe shoe fitting company in January of 2014.
After our conversation I was desperately trying to figure out how Josephine could travel all the way to Australia to fit my adult and younger dancers! A bit of a pipe dream at the moment considering the world is in lockdown and most of us can't even leave our state let alone country.

The thing I love most about Josephine is how inspirational yet relatable she is. And she always seems to find the right words to describe a thought I'm having or respond so maturely and gracefully to a difficult situation.
