This is part two of three parts with Laurie and her turbulent marriage to a law enforcement officer. 

Laurie wanted to tell the WHEN DATING HURTS podcast her “doozy of a story”. Those were her words.

The point she wanted to make was being married to a serial abuser is complicated exponentially when he is also a law-enforcement officer.

Typically, these interviews take between one and a half to two hours. Our interview was nearly 3 hours. Every minute was worth it. It comes in three parts so we do not miss a moment of Laurie’s portrayal of what can happen when your husband, and the system, is working against you.
