This sends us into a bigger conversation on being direct in dating vs. overthinking in fear of a negative response, and guess what! Turns out safe communication is kinky.

Then Jess shares her working theory that everything is a projection, and talks about breaking out of the expectations others project onto her. The body keeps the score, and other books we'll never read, amiright?

A few other pivots in the episode take us to the age-old question: "why are men's Instagram stories so boring?" and a new segment idea called "Squisitely." Likelihood of returning to that one still undetermined.
