Codependency is a relational dynamic that has gained a lot of mainstream popularity in the last few years.

We think of codependency on end of the wounded feminine spectrum in which you are continuing to willingly sacrifice your needs to feel “safe”* in a relationship (*to keep it, to not “rock the boat”, meet an unspoken need like being “helpful”, etc).

It keeps us stuck in a disempowered/childlike vantage point and pushes healthy relationships (with money, people, our body, etc) away.

In this episode we each share how we recognize it- in ourselves and others- and where it comes from so we can use the awareness to keep moving forward in our emotional development (the opposite of codependency).
