Author, speaker, and relationship coach, Christy Johnson explains how to choose the right men, how to move past toxic relationships, and how to overcome the addiction to love and relationships.

As a single Christian, if you’ve ever experienced abuse, either personally or witnessed it as a child, you’ll want to tune in to learn how she overcame abuse in her life.

I interview Christy about her childhood and how she grew up feeling neglected, which led her down a bad path relationally. She goes into detail to explain what it means to be dependent on someone else, besides God, in such a way that you become addicted to that particular relationship. She also discusses the death of her child, her addiction to love, and how God rescued her in so many areas of life.

Christy talks about HOW she was able to eventually choose a partner well, even though she says her “picker was warped,” meaning she was attracted to the wrong types of men. That is, until she allowed God to bring healing and discipline into her life.
