Maya trained in acupuncture in Japan and lived there for many years before returning home to the U.S. to open a private practice. She’s licensed to practice acupuncture in both Japan and the U.S.
Inside SkinKyu University, Maya teaches fellow acupuncturists to improve their technical skills and clinical results through Japanese-style needling and moxibustion.
