Just because you do not confront something you do not like about yourself, or your life, does not mean it is not a part of your experience, it just means you are pushing it down into the darkness of your shadow. In order for us to take our SPOT on our pedestal, we must first accept our WHOLE SELF, no matter where we are in life, no matter how we currently feel about ourselves. Through acceptance we are able to see clearly and then make decisions about how we wish to create the rest of our reality. When we accept who we are, we also accept responsibility over our life, allowing ourselves to actually take control and change for the better. When we focus on our own life (the good + the not so good), we are able to look past the projections of others, realize our worth, and take our spot on our pedestal.
