When you think about your life, what you want to be remembered for, what contributes to it being a good one, who you love, how you spend your time, what your legacy is… those are the things that truly matter to you.

But, what is it you're thinking about? The catty co-worker? The number on the scale? How you said that dumb thing at the party two weeks ago? That the guy never called you back?

We spend so much time thinking about things that don't matter, that we're wasting our life away focused on the wrong things. At least that has been the case for me.

Yes, I have been in a tough season lately, but I am making it tougher because of the stories around what has gone on. I've been indulging in self loathing about things that don't. fucking. matter.
