This is the debut feature film from writer and director, Melina Matsoukas, starring actors Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith as Queen & Slim. Set against a backdrop of Black Lives Matter protests, Queen and Slim follow a single fateful encounter that turns into a heart-wrenching cross-country journey as the two fight for their lives in search of freedom. 

Look, this movie is controversial for more reasons than just the encounters with police officers but the relationship that we have with one another as the black community. Some good and some not so positive and we talk about all of it in this episode!
