Ashley Kematick is a mom of two, and 26 years old. When Jessica approached her about coming on the podcast, Jessica assumed she would speak on the struggle of being a child who grew up with both family in and out of church, her experience in coming to Truth, and how it shaped her into becoming the mom she wanted to be and currently is to two sweet babies. Little did Jessica know that Ashley, after hearing Mara's episode (#1), had felt compelled to share her trauma of being sexually abused as a 9-year-old girl, in hopes of helping someone feel seen or related to in this matter. It's been 17 years of no one but her husband knowing this occurred. Here is her truth, and the beauty from ashes testimony that God has intricately woven in her life.
