What is the most important part of the sales process and completion of a project for a contractor? Some of you may the answer is money. Well, yes and no. The most important part of any sales gig is customer service, more importantly, showing the customer that you know exactly what you are doing. Logan just spent the last 2 weeks on the road between San Diego and Ann Arbor visiting clients and marketing gurus. During his trip, there were 2 events that took place that completely changed the way that he thinks about customer service. 

  • Learning what systems and processes to set up
  • Having everything set up when hiring new employees
  • Showing customers that you actually know what you are doing
  • How to properly set up your marketing system
  • Asking the prospects the right questions in order to have a great vetting process
  • Keeping a color-coordinated documenting system to avoid disaster
  • Taking a day to set up daily systems
  • Building out your marketing campaign in sections
  • Hiring somebody to make sure customers have the best experience
  • Some things that Logan actually learned about customer service
