If there’s one thing I see time and again, it’s those of us who use social media as a business validating our lives based on our followers and burning ourselves out when we feel like we’re losing followers. If you’re experiencing a dip in engagement, it could be life trying to tell you that you need to take a break. In this episode we’ll talk more about:

• How breaks are a good thing
• Your business will be fine if you rest
• Social media is not real life

It’s important to remember that as important as your business is, it’s nowhere near as important as the real relationships in your life with your real family and friends. If you find yourself more stressed than usual, or withdrawing into your work, I’d argue that it’s even more of a sign that you need to take a break and rejuvenate not only your creative mindset but also reinforce the relationships in your life that truly matter.
