Age may not be anything other than a number, to paraphrase the late Aaliyah (perhaps a bad example as she married R Kelly when she was just 15 – he was 27), but it's often brought up as a reason a couple shouldn't be together, especially when the woman is the older one.

We're sitting down to hash out the whys and wherefores, speaking about our personal experiences being the cougars in our marriages, and our past history of dating (significantly) older men.
