"The Zone Of Interest" had its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix and FIPRESCI Prizes, receiving some of the best reviews of the year, with many proclaiming it to be the best film of 2023. Stars Christian Friedel and Sandra Hüller were kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their experience working with filmmaker Jonathan Glazer on such a unique Holocaust film. Then cinematographer Łukasz Żal and supervising sound designer Johnnie Burn spoke with Dan Bayer about their contributions to the film's haunting visuals and sound, creating a haunting, memorable experience. Please be sure to check out the film, which is currently playing in theaters from A24 and is the entry for the British entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards. The film is also up for your consideration in all eligible categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound. Thank you, and enjoy!
