Francesca Barone is a plant medicine facilitator and the Co-Founder of Anam Cara Retreats. Francesca joins us for a conversation that needed to be had: with the rise of the psychedelic medicine movement, how do we hold INTEGRITY in the psychedelic medicine space? How do we meet the full spectrum of experience: not just the juicy life-changing visual experiences but the adverse, difficult, and de-regulating?

We explore all that and more as Francesca brings us through her personal experiences sitting with ayahuasca and as a steward of healing. Francesca speaks from her personal experience with nervous system de-regulation and disembodiment and how she grounded back into her body and recalibrated her system. She shines a light on trauma and nervous-system-informed ways of working with ayahuasca and psychedelic medicine so that each individual is met with the care that is in best resonance with their system.

Francesca stewards medicine work and works with those outside of the medicine space implementing practices and methods such as compassionate inquiry, somatic awareness, and integration work.
