In this brief solo episode, I candidly share some of my thoughts surrounding the unhelpful comparison game we all commonly play from time to time. In today's modern and digital world, we are consistently lured in to viewing other people's filtered lives, and it's doing a number on our self-image, our nervous systems, and therefore our overall well-being. We are leaving the door open for chronic deception and distraction, and it's setting us back now more than ever.
Here, I not only discuss how the comparison trap is a destructive web to get tangled up in, but I give a real-life example of how I've seen it play out in my own life, as well as thoughtful tips on how to minimize this behavior so you can stay present and grounded in your own.
