A submissive wife has chosen to serve her husband, and she does not try to exercise authority over him.

Instead, she has chosen to learn from him quietly.

She has chosen this way of life because she believes it is the correct way to live.

A Christian wife knows that it is gods word. See 1 Timothy 2:11-12

It is her choice to give her husband authority over her.

She does this because she loves and trusts her husband.
