A little late, but better late than never, perhaps! But for all that, there are only excerpts from two programmes this time. We don't usually hear anything from 'Traa dy Liooar', a co-production between the BBC and Manx Radio, which is broadcast on Manx Radio AM1368 on Monday afternoon between 5.00pm and 6.00pm, and 'Shiaght Laa' is not going at the present time. As well as that, there wasn't a particular piece in the Manx Gaelic in 'Goll as Gaccan' on Sunday afternoon between 4.00pm and 6.00pm. But Daniel Quayle sets us a challenge with Kianglaghyn Kiaullee (Musical Connections) in 'Jamys Jeheiney', which is another co-production between the BBC and Manx Radio, and then there's another extract from the translation into the Manx Gaelic of Dracula by Bram Stoker, and we're almost half way through that book in 'Claare ny Gael'.

Daniel Quayle challenges us with one game this time in 'Jamys Jeheiney', as it's Kianglaghyn Kiaullee (Musical Connections) that can be heard, with three songs in that game. There's a song for us in 'Goll as Gaccan' as well, one of those that was arranged for Mooinjer Veggey, and Phil Gawne explains the words to Simon Clarke in the studio and to us in our own homes. In our extract from the translation into the Manx Gaelic of Dracula in 'Claare ny Gael', Dr John Seward and Professor Van Helsing worried about Lucy Westenra, and they've hurried to her house. But there's no reply to be had, and so they have to break in.

Daniel Quayle is issuing an invitation to people to send in answers to his games, Cre'n Vlein? (What's the Year?) and Kianglaghyn Kiaullee (Musical Connections) in 'Jamys Jeheiney'. In 'Goll as Gaccan' we hear old wise sayings which are read out by Phil Gawne and then we hear a song produced for Mooinjer Veggey and Phil goes through the words for us. There is another extract from the translation into the Manx Gaelic of Dracula by Bram Stoker in 'Claare ny Gael'.

Daniel Quayle is alone in the studio as he presents 'Jamys Jeheiney' this week, but he has two games and there's an invitation for people to take part in them. In 'Goll as Gaccan' we hear a bit more of Adrian Cain's address when he was launching a translation into the Manx Gaelic of a book by Tom Palmer, and there's a song in Manx to be heard as well, with Phil Gawne going through the words for us.  A message has come late for Dr John Seward from his friend and erstwhile master, Professor Van Helsing. We hear about what happened from the pen of Lucy Westenra, as we listen to another extract from the translation into the Manx Gaelic of Dracula, which is to be heard in 'Claare ny Gael'.

Daniel Quayle isn't alone this time in 'Jamys Jeheiney', but we still play two games with him. A week or two ago, Adrian Cain launched his translation in the Manx Gaelic of a book by Tom Palmer. We hear more of that in 'Goll as Gaccan'. From another book, Dracula by Bram Stoker, and in a translation into the Manx Gaelic as well, in 'Claare ny Gael' we hear about a wolf that escaped and about a patient of Dr John Seward in his mental home.

There was another edition of that programme to be heard on the first day of the new year as well, and from that programme we hear Ian Cottier. Daniel Quayle challenges us in 'Jamys Jeheiney, to work out Kianglaghyn Kiaullee (Musical Connections) and to offer an answer to Cre'n Cheer? (What's the Country?). There's another extract from a translation into the Manx Gaelic of Dracula by Bram Stoker in 'Claare ny Gael'.
