The Trump Administration is coming under increasing pressure to release all the documents it has connected to the late sex offender Jeffery Epstein.

The US Justice Department released around three million files yesterday, saying it was the last batch of documents they would publish.

The files were heavily redacted.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor should testify before US Congress, with the release showing his regular contact with the paedophile for more than two years after Epstein's conviction, and new images appearing to show the former Prince Andrew kneeling over an unidentified woman.

Two children have life-threatening injuries after a house fire in the Townsville area in north Queensland.

The blaze broke out around 5.30 this morning.

Two other occupants of the home suffered smoke inhalation.

All were taken to the Townsville University Hospital.

Authorities in Iran say at least six people have been killed in explosions across the country blamed on gas leaks, but they deny a Revolutionary Guard naval commander is among the dead.

The explosions come amid heightened tensions with the United States, and fears of US military action following the recent violent crackdown on protests across Iran.

The Pentagon has not made any comments on the explosions, while Israeli officials have denied any involvement.

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse have labelled the release of files as an indefensible failure.

A joint statement from nearly 20 victims says details of some women abused were not redacted, but details about the men who allegedly abused them remain hidden.

The survivors say the Justice Department cannot claim it's finished releasing files until every abuser and enabler is fully exposed.

The DoJ has identified more than 6 million pages of records, but much of that won't be made public.

Meanwhile Australia's out going ambassador to the US and former Prime minister Kevin Rudd has denied ever meeting Epstein, after his named appeared in emails released by the Justice department.

The emails show third parties sought to secure Mr Rudd's attendance at events with Epstein, as part of efforts to court people with political or financial influence.

Mr Rudd's office says he never met Epstein, and the documents show no direct contact between the two.

Hospitals in Gaza say the latest round of Israeli strikes have killed almost 30 Palestinians, one of the highest reported tolls since the October ceasefire.

A day after Israel accused Hamas of fresh ceasefire violations, strikes hit locations throughout Gaza, including a tent camp, an apartment building and a police station.
