Animal rights activist, warrior, badass, soul brother Phil Demers and I catch up for the first time since Hotboxin’. His documentary The Walrus and The Whistleblower premiers very soon. Phil has been in a seven-plus year battle with the Canadian Seaworld – Marineland. His story is fascinating and I encourage you to watch the upcoming film. More than that though Phil is someone I’ve hung out with twice now and he just feels like family. We mused on our experience with the coronavirus, lessons we’ve learned over the last month and a half, what it all means and how we go about improving ourselves.
