Anyone else feel like an imposter at times? Well, Hello I'm Ilona & I know how you feel :)

The feeling like you or your ideas aren't good enough. The WHO AM I to do this? It's a very real feeling. 

I hope this podcast helps you find ways to twist the thought of imposter syndrome and look at it in a different way. 

That just because someone else hasn't done it the way that has been done over and over again doesn't mean that you can't be successful. 

Maybe the imposter syndrome is your bodies way of telling you that this is how we can stand out and be different.

Sometimes I think we get so caught up with the comparison syndrome that we forget that each person has a unique experience. 

What worked for someone else may or may not work for you. That isn't to say one way is better than the other, but just different in general. 

So the next time you decide to base someone else's experience as yours think again.

With so much division in the world there are so many silent battles happening around us.

Some people feel like they are unsure who to trust. 

Which then leads to keeping things held in as some fear they will be criticized, looked down on or torn apart.

During this time I truly feel we need a reminder to ask those we truly care for "how are you?"

Again this isn't saying stop seeking medical advice if needed but a reminder to check on those you love WITHOUT judgement.

This is just a reminder that you don't owe anyone an explanation as to why or why not you do or do not do a certain thing.

Whatever you do decide to do make sure it is out of self awareness/love rather than fear. Just because everyone is going a certain direction doesn't mean you have to. Unless you want to and truly agree with it. In the end do what is best for YOU.

Do you feel like you sometimes put a title on yourself like I'm a (fill in the blank with job title) or character traits like I'm too shy I could never do that or my disease (chronic or acute) is my life now?

I feel ya. I too have placed many titles on myself. These titles too have placed limiting beliefs on myself and held me back a time or two. 

I hope after listening to this you can breath a little easier and know that you are MORE than what you title yourself!
