After a day full of drama, the Chicago White Sox beat the New York Yankees on the South Side, 5-1. A lot was made of the Jesse Rodgers article that featured former Sox reliver Keynan Middleton describing the organization as having a culture problem. Middleton went into detail about players sleeping in the bullpen, showing up late for practice and there being an absence of leadership. It's not the first time a former White Sox player has questioned how things are done within the organization. Sox general manger, Rick Hahn, and manager, Pedro Grifol, both weighed in on Middleton's comments prior to the game on Monday. It's clear that the Sox have some serious issues and they have been going on for quite some time. Sox were able to focus on the task at hand come game time and beat the Yankees. Dylan Cease threw far more pitches than he would have liked but was effective. Andrew Vaughn had a two-run homerun and had a great defensive play. The White Sox have won three in a row.
