September is National Suicide Prevention Month. In honor of that, we have Brian Reisinger on our Ag Law in the Field Podcast to talk about his family's story related to farm and ranch mental health.
Brian is the author of a new book - "Land Rich, Cash Poor," which offers an interesting overview of the history and cause of the decrease in the number of farms cross the United States. Additionally, Brian wrote a powerful opinion piece in USDA Today discussing the mental health crisis facing America's agricultural producers.
Above all, Brian's story is one of family, resilience, and hope.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please remember, you are not alone. There is help available. There is hope, even in the darkness.
