In celebration of American Flowers Week, we're replaying our episode from last year with Martha Lojewski, manager with the Alaska Peony Cooperative. Peony season is beginning this week with tens of thousands of stems being harvested over the course of the next month and a half. I can't wait to dive into my chat with Martha Lojewski. This remote part of our country is the last haven for this majestic flower once the regular season comes to an end towards the end of June.
