I speak about my experience with abusing alcohol and getting into many dangerous situations, going to the depths of depression, sadness, isolation, and the experience of being sober now for 4 and a half years.  I speak about the perspective I have gained from sobriety.

Why is the consumption of the drug alcohol, that kills roughly 90,000 people a year in America (more than all drug deaths combined) considered "normal"?  Why is it glorified everywhere you look?
