Are wellsprings of beauty our living systems for change?
In this episode entitled Beyond the Edge We Soar Together, Amisha speaks with Erin Dixon, Ashati Sakahikan.
They speak of truth and reconciliation in light of the cultural genocide and impacts of intergenerational trauma on the wellbeing of Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island. They explore the power of the land, ceremonial gifts of culture, song and drumming as pathways of beauty that carry stories for healing trauma and for lifting collective spirit. Their conversation connects us to ideas of living systems as well springs for change fuelled by joy, intuition, sacred reciprocity and the magical shimmers of our waterways.
"When we talked about the pathways of change and beauty that are happening, I feel like it comes when people are doing the work they came to do. Their waters, their pathways start to shimmer, that light starts to shimmer. A wellspring of beauty, in the sense of really listening to their gifts, listening to why they are here and taking action and movement from that place." – Erin Dixon

How can we be present to the challenging transitions that we experience in life?
"We can be courageous enough to meet these moments of transition with presence. To let ourselves be transformed in relationship to that which is dying and being reborn within and around us. To trust in the wild unfolding. To find the beauty in being here." Amisha Ghadiali
In this episode entitled A Tribute to my Father, Amisha shares a tribute to the life of her father, and explores death, grief and karma. She shares some of the ways he influenced her and the power in these profound moments. In the second part there is an expansive meditation practice on The Art of Deep Listening. We can only listen to others in relation to the ability we have cultivated to listen to ourselves. As we find ourselves here in this great transition that 2020 is offering to us, how can we find presence, grace and allow ourselves to be transformed by life itself?

Join us for this special episode with three elders who have been guests on the show - and took part in our live webinars during our season break.
In this episode entitled Wisdom from our Elders with Sally Kempton, Jyoti and Mac Macartney, we ask Mac Macartney (E61) and Jyoti (E68) for their take on the pandemic and everything that it is bringing to the surface - and what our role is here.
And we ask Sally Kempton (E8) how we navigate entering back into a forever changed and changing world.
All three of these guests are elders with so much experience, love and wisdom to share. It's a true honour to know them, and to learn from them and we hope that their words touch you deeply.

How do we find a sense of connection and reciprocity with nature?
In this episode entitled Ancestral Gifts That Soften The Edge, Amisha talks with black-latinx transdisciplinary artist, educator, and designer brontë velez (they/them). They discuss prophetic opportunities presented by Covid-19, the potency of death doulaship practices, spiritual ecology and technology for communities to understand our environmental responsibilities and to liberate from racial and spiritual trauma.
brontë is guided by their understanding that Earth called them to bring along other children of colour to meet Earth and to experience each other in wild spaces. They draw on death doulaship practices, such as listening to Earth and prophetic dream practices to connect communities to Earth's wisdom for prophetic insight on what other ways of being might be possible. In ecological planting ceremonies, their collective Lead to Life, holds space for black people to heal racial and spiritual trauma of community and land on their own terms.
This podcast is part of a collaboration with St Ethelburgas, called Listening to each other : Listening to Earth, which reaches for the place where spiritual ecology and climate justice meet. It explores the integration of spirituality with grounded action through the lives and leadership of people of colour.

How do we navigate this time as a moment for radical change?
As we emerge from our break into our forth series, we felt to bring the voices of some of our wise community here. So we asked our patrons to share voice messages with something they want to share and we recorded part of our May patrons call. We hope that you enjoy hearing these different perspectives. One of the most wonderful parts of The Future Is Beautiful is that we are co-creating it, our new normal, where we embody our sacred activism, where we learn and unlearn, where we all rise up as leaders.

What does it take to create a life you love close to nature?
In this episode entitled We Are All Sovereign Of Our Own Worlds, Amisha connects with author, mud home builder and Earth whisperer Atulya Bingham. Atulya speaks to us from her offgrid home in the mountains of Northern Spain, and shares the story of how she first took up residence in a tent on a hillside in Turkey. She tells of her initial terror, and then deep abiding love of the wild land and all its inhabitants.
Together, Amisha and Atulya speak about the sensitivity and discernment that arises when we reconnect with wild nature, how living outside of the mainstream system brings joy and also challenge, and the process of decay that is making way for the seeds of new ways of being to come forth and bear fruit. They discuss the relational alchemy and diverse sources of wisdom that we find in connection with the natural world, how to listen to trees, and the critical importance of finding joy in every moment of life.
