Following my discussion with Mac I presented a 25 minute dialogue on my thoughts on the current economic situation and outlook. If you've been following the podcast you'll probably be familiar with some of this discussion but I figured I'd do a summary discussion to put it all into one package. In the talk I covered basic economics and human psychology that leads to economic contraction. I also spoke of economic easing and stimulus, fiat and gold-backed currencies and how fractional reserve lending works. This is by no means an in depth discussion but merely a 'basics' lesson to help in your level of understanding.
