Hey there. I'm Mike, issa podcast. This week after I shoot my warning shot to my fantasy football league, we get a bit more serious to talk about us, well me, and well you. More specifically the way we view ourselves and toll a negative self view only hurts us, well you. The way we view ourselves is crucial to finding happiness and acceptance. Sometimes that means forgiving the past and allowing yourself a chance to do better next round. Thank you all for your time and I hope together we can grow.

Hey there. This week I have to take a moment to acknowledge I let the Suns down, my bad, as I only hope for success for all my other AZ teams. With exception to the Diamondbacks... I just don't care either way.... But mostly I'm here to talk about what friendship means to me. The two most important factors that I consider and value in a friendship. And when its time to end those relationships that are bringing you down. Its important to surround ourselves with people that will uplift us and help us grow, sometimes that means leaving some bad juju behind.
This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with one of the many great coaches from F45 Waterside Jill Whelan, who on top of whooping butts into shape runs a food page that will make any mouth water! In the third installment of couch conversations Jill and I discuss the gym and the need for a break from the gym. Talk about food, the importance of good nutrition and my terrible eating habits. I reminisce on Myspace and the garage computer. It was a great time. Catch Jill over at F45 Waterside in Fort Worth and on Instagram @PeanutbutterandJilly__
Back at it again, this week I'm tribbyn on the idea of holding back. Time and time again I hear it from friends, family, hell even myself about an idea or dream we want to pursue followed directly by "but I" or "If only" or whatever other excuse or lie we tell to keep us from living out our dreams. Really the biggest thing to hold us back is our own fear. Fear or embarrassment, failure, of not being perfect. Unfortunately I cant tell you how to avoid fear or eliminate it from your lives but what I can do is tell you its unavoidable so if you're gonna be afraid hell be afraid doing what you love. Cause when it finally pays off, you'll be better for it. Go make mistakes. Go jump into the unknown and trust you got whatever life throws your way.
This week I discuss the love and hate relationship I have with my phone. This infinite cube of knowledge that I stare into learning nonsense and searching for a ditto. Our phones have grown from Nokia bricks to devices of endless distraction and terrible neck posture. Its important to remember to put them down and look up.
I also rant a bit about social media and the ideas of celebrities' in politics.
Starting off this week I want to give a huge shoutout to Naomi Osaka, thank you for reminding the world that even at the top of your game we all share the same struggles. Of course I also have to give props to the Phoenix Suns for knocking the Lakers out cold. The better team won, better city won. But the main focus this week is about finding value in you. Everyday we get to decide what our life is going to look like, who we are going to be. Only question is really what do you want your like to look like, cause you're in charge.
This week I had the pleasure to sit down and converse with the very funny and talented comedian and screen writer, Chris Jones. I met Chris at an open mic at Hyena's in Fort Worth, TX. Join us as we talk about the Texas comedy scene, the good and the pretty terrible. Chris talks about his passion for writing and his goals of creating the best western film, even rivaling Star Wars. And give some praise to the goats Kendrick Lamar and J Cole while possibly solving the war on drugs. I had a blast and hope you do to.
Catch Chris Jones all over the DFW area, the man puts in the work.

This week kicks off the first of many great conversations to come on Always Tribbyn' - My good friend Franki stops by the apartment to discuss charity and volunteering ( go do it ). For the last 15 years Franki has been volunteering first in school and now in her community to establish relationships and help provide assistance to those in need.
Although we didn't get to mention it during the episode but if you are interested in getting involved and making a difference check out your local CERT program or with your local shelters to help those in need in your area.
From there also discuss her journey and growth on her small, for now, farm. I hope you enjoy and get as much from this conversation as I did and that afterwards we all become a little more like Franki when its our chance to make a difference.
Back after a brief hiatus and soul searching, this week I address self confidence and its importance to a good life. Too often we get lost in the negative sauce and need a reminder that we are in more control than you know! And throw in a little rant about pets - take care of them!
This week I go on the search for my groove as my wife and I come back from our trip to the desert or dessert, spelling aint my thang. Join me as I contemplate life and talk about going home and the troubles of family.
