Amisfield is a well-known winery in the Pisa Mountain Ranges of Central Otago, New Zealand. It is run by an 'A-Team 'of passionate and experienced individuals that all have the common goal to make great wine. The Amisfield owners have given the team the flexibility to experiment and innovate and you can see it in their wines.

In this episode we are fortunate to chat to Sam Davies (Chief Winemaker) where he explains his wine journey, the sub-region of the Pisa Mountain Ranges, and takes us through a flight of Amisfield wines which included their 2022 Fume Sauvignon Blanc, 2023 Chardonnay, 2022 Pinot Noir, 2022 Breakneck Pinot Noir, and 2019 Reserve RKV Pinot Noir.

Thank you to Sam and the team including Andre Lategan (Vineyard Manager) and George Mackersy (Vineyard Operations Manager), for such a warm welcome and amazing tour of the vineyard and operations.
