This podcast guest is Amy Farrar, a Minnesota author whose book, A Jersey Girls’ Guide to the Universe, was recently published. Amy’s here to talk with us about her book, which is a coming of age memoir about her childhood in Grovers Mill, New Jersey, known as the place “where the Martians landed” because it was the location Orson Wells picked as ground zero for the Martian invasion in his 1938 radio play of H.G. Welles’s (who is unrelated to Orson Wells) book War of the Worlds. What’s ironic about this is that Amy’s memoir also covers her experiences with UFOs, ETs, and the paranormal. In this podcast we also discuss her out of body experience where she encounter God.
