Our special guest is the artist Anne Zahalka. A few years ago, after her mother’s death, she discovered a pile of letter she’s never seen before. The letters were from Anne’s grandmother, starting in Vienna in 1938, after Margarete’s daughters escaped to England and she remained trapped in war torn Europe, writing to her daughters, trying desperately to reunite with them.
