This webcast will discuss Anticoagulant and Antiplatelet Update.  This presentation will review updates to recommendations in anticoagulation with an emphasis on exploring the historical “gray” areas for DOAC use. Additionally, the anticoagulation pipeline including the exploration of Factor XI inhibitors will also be discussed. This presentation will also review the antiplatelet recommendations for chronic coronary disease and acute coronary syndrome patients who may or may not have a percutaneous coronary intervention. The differences in the oral P2Y12 inhibitors, clopidogrel, prasugrel, and ticagrelor, will be covered.
