How You Sabotage Yourself
Do you ever wonder why you never seem to get any further forward in certain parts of your life or with your goals, and you start to believe it’s just how I am and feel you can’t change?
Let’s talk ‘Inner Saboteur’…
Confidence & Self-Worth – People often go about getting confident in completely the wrong way. Thoughts such as “When I’ve lost weight, moved house, got that promotion, etc. then I’ll be confident…”. It’s the “when I have, then I’ll be” syndrome. It’s a subconscious excuse programming the mind not to move forward. This can lower confidence and self-worth. So let’s look at that…
If you have anxiety it’s very hard to step out of that horrible ‘comfort zone’. It’s like living in a prison except the door is open but you don’t really believe you can walk out there, too scary. In this episode, I explain why that is and how you do it. To walk out into the sunlight and into your freedom. Yes, it does take a certain amount of courage but more than that, desire! So, the choice is yours – what will you choose?
Time to catch up. This is my lowdown on lockdown. I explain why some people actually love being stuck at home, and what you need to get out of that frame of mind. I also introduce some resources I’ve been busy creating for you, including a free mini-course.
In this episode, I take you through a hypnosis session for general rejuvenation, to help cleanse and purify our mind and body, ideal for the current challenges. Preferably listen with headphones. Switch off your mobile. Make sure you don’t operate any machine or drive.
Episode 6
Which therapy or method is more appropriate and effective for Anxiety? In this episode, I’m discussing Psychotherapy, CBT, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Mindfulness and Linden.
In this 18 minutes interview, Niki McGlynn tells us how NeuroDevelopment and Movement Patterns can help with learning & behavioural difficulties. It is particularly interesting if you are a parent, work with children, or have difficulties yourself.
Niki helps children (and adults) who have problems with focus, attention, behaviour, late bed-wetting, dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism etc.. using simple movement patterns to help integrate retained primitive reflexes.
In this interview, we are discussing the following
Although reflex integration programmes are primarily aimed at children, the majority of adults have some degree of retained reflexes. These can be barely noticeable in day to day life but become more apparent at times of stress or in some people can be quite debilitating. People who struggle to adapt to change such as moving desks or new management may have retained fear reflexes, people who fidget, rock their chairs and struggle to pay attention may have retained spinal reflexes and people who struggle to organise themselves, get things done in time or get to meetings on time may have retained neck reflexes.
What can you do if you start feeling anxious about the environment, or if you kids start telling you off because of climate change?
In this special episode, I take you through a short hypnosis session, to help you calm your system, relax your body, and be more in the present.
Practical tips, dietary advice, and what is available to really help your child move out of anxiety and be happier.
